As it currently stands, the mold remediation and water restoration industries are in dire need of reform. Conflicting protocols and self-serving interests have combined to create chaos, as well as endanger the safety of tradesmen and the general public. NOMP—the National Organization of Mold Professionals—will start rectifying the situation beginning in Q1, 2026.
